Long time composer, arranger, singer and producer, Carl "Guitar" Watkins now leads the way as Jirah Records' premiere artist having now released 4 albums which are available world wide on streaming services and downloads.  This includes 2 gospel albums, a jazz album and a Christmas album. No matter the genre his music inspires the soul and elevates the mind to a place of serenity.  The Jazz album, "Feelin' Good" features  the smooth saxophonist great  Rod Tate  on the title song "Feelin' Good"  and  master pianist Marvin F. Cockrell on Pacifying You.  His Gospel Album "Captured"  also features Pastor Emmanuel Searcy of Second New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis on the popular song "Lord You Reign ".  Both "Captured" and "Lord You Reign" were featured on the world renown Bobby Jones Show in 2022.

Cecelia B. Jones

Now releasing her second  CD and book, "Sonnets for the Soul" reveals a whole new dimension to Cecelia's work.  This project was truly inspired by God and is a blessing to all who dare to venture into this CD. Listen to her album on Apple Music.

The term "Sonnets" is derived from an old Italian term literally translated as "little songs".  Although this traditionally represented a strict form of poetry style, here Cecelia presents a modern unique style of poetry which are little songs that give the listener a glimpse of the mind of God. 
Marvin F. Cockrell
Marvin F. Cockrell started his recording career with his debut album Steppin' Stones under the label Styletracks Records which he founded  with now Jirah Records producers Dr. Seth Brownridge and Carl Watkins. He has since blossomed into a major jazz force in St. Louis with his band Focus and has continued to record some of his songs and arrange live show productions at Jirah records, In addition to assisting with keyboards on a number of our other projects.
